Final Fantasy XIV RPG: Scenario And Gamemaster Guide
Vendor: Square Enix
Product Type : Role Playing Game
Weave new tales of adventure in the realm of Eorzea and beyond!
The Final Fantasy XIV Tabletop Roleplaying Game is a gateway into the magical world of Final Fantasy XIV through which you and your friends can embark on exciting and memorable adventures. In this game, one player will act as your gamemaster—the arbiter and lead storyteller—while the rest of your group will play as adventurers. The Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG Scenario & Gamemaster Guide provides the information and tools you’ll need to modify existing scenarios or craft your very own adventures.
*Players will need a copy of the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG Standard Rulebook or the abbreviated version of the rules available for free on the game's official website in order to make full use of this product. This product is the English version and does not support other languages.
Scenario & Gamemaster Guide Contents:
♦ Adventure Creation Tools: This book explains how to adjust or adapt existing scenarios and FATEs to create new scenarios, as well as how to create entirely original scenarios from scratch. It also includes new rules for streamlining complex checks outside of encounters.
♦ New Rewards: Nothing excites adventurers more than the promise of treasure and other rewards! The Scenario & Gamemaster Guide outlines how to come up with appropriate rewards to include in your scenarios and offers examples of new minions, mounts, and titles to serve as inspiration.
♦ Expanded Encounter Rules: The Scenario & Gamemaster Guide expands on the encounter rules outlined in the Standard Rulebook, introducing new optional rules for difficult terrain and other types of special squares, as well as a variety of weather conditions and more. Implementing these mechanics is certain to enrich the game for groups of experienced players.
♦ World Guide: A trove of supplementary information about the realm of Eorzea and beyond can be found within the pages of this book, including an introduction to the deities of Eorzea, the various primals worshipped by the land’s beast tribes , and the ever-present threat posed by the Garlean Empire.
♦ Original Scenarios: The Scenario & Gamemaster Guide contains three official premade scenarios: one for Lv. 50 adventurers, one for Lv. 55 adventurers, and one for Lv. 60 adventurers. These scenarios tie together into an overarching campaign that takes place during the events of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward.
♦ Challenge Duties: This book introduces challenge duties: high-end content for experienced players that pits the party against brutal foes and complex encounter mechanics. The Scenario & Gamemaster Guide contains two official premade challenge duties: one for Lv. 50 adventurers and one for Lv. 60 adventurers.
